Whiteside Mountain I Am Word

The following video is a late Autumn view of one of the oldest mountains in the world.  Most of the year’s leaves have already fallen, but the forest is still stunning and beautiful.

The words in the video are a meditation and series of affirmations I like to say every day.  At my retreats, those who feel comfortable with the words, say them with me after qigong every morning.

Many of my clients say that these words fortify their sense of self confidence and safety before they step into a meeting or a group of people.  Others say they feel comforted and reassured by the words. Still others are inspired.

I find them very grounding. I use them to align myself with my own Sacred Nature and the Christ that I believe resides in each of us. Saying them helps me feel ready for the day ahead in kindness and love, guided by God and the wisdom that comes from Source.

The words come from the Guides or Ascended Masters that speak through author Paul Selig. You can find them in the channeled series that begins with I Am the Word.  At this time, in June 2023, there are currently 10 books published and another due out in September 2023.

The affirmations themselves are said to carry a vibration that attunes each one who says them to this higher Self that is innate in each of us. They help us to remember who we are at our core, beyond our egos and our personalities and at our purest essence.

I find the words deeply comforting and empowering.

When I made this video, I had hiked to a location close to this beautiful mountain in western North Carolina near the Eastern Continental Divide. I go to this place as often as I can and take in the beauty of the place, each season, the sounds, smells and feelings of overflowing gratitude, awe and joy that these mountains inspire in me.

In the beauty of these mountains, I can more easily be in the place that Eckart Tolle calls The Now, or the present moment.

Meditation and prayer become easier, and the constant interruption of other thoughts or worries fall away.

Beautiful places, especially those in nature, help us all get out of our own way and find our way to a peaceful space beyond space and time where our answers lie. Beauty connects us to our souls.

We can leave all thought and worry, regrets and memories of the past and plans for the future aside so that we can simply be.  Then we are more likely to hear the still small voice.

If you choose to watch this video, perhaps you can imagine you are in that place.  See if you can hear the breeze and the birds and bugs.  You can also close your eyes and simply listen to the words.

May the words soothe your soul like they do me.  My hope is that you will be inspired to read or listen to the books where there lies great wisdom and solace.  If not here, I know you will find your way to this same inspiration, though.

Because that is what souls do.

Much love, Martha
